'You're going to hate this idea, but I think it will be really cool'. Dave loves it when I start off that way, but I figure I might as well lay it all on the table. I had been sitting in the baby's room trying to figure out what I wanted to do with all the awesome birdhouses when I remembered that I had some string lights that I wanted to put up somewhere .... and then it hit me...we needed to light some of the houses for a nightlight and string them on the trees!
After quelling concerns about fire hazards, wiring, etc. Dave agreed to help me with my idea - and help he did. I selected 10 of the houses that didnt have decorated backs, and we went to work. I am so happy with how this turned out - it even has a foot pedal on/off switch and the wiring goes through the wall. The rest of the houses are on a shelf. They are all awesome. Yay for the birdhouse project, yay for finishing the baby's room!
