Summer changed to fall, fall changed to winter. After a busy traveling Fall Season, we have enjoyed a relaxing Winter so far, with Thanksgiving at home and Christmas in California. We've done some house projects and are planning more. It is such a pleasure to be enjoying our space and our little City.
Some items on the horizon for 2010:
1. Running: We've been doing a lot of that. We have some short races planned over the next couple of months, but Dave is having Ultramarathon aspirations again.
2. Projects: We're taking the phased approach to updating the bathrooms, light fixtures, etc. Of course I would spend all of our efforts on the yard, but that is going to have to be a work in progress. We had a bizarre winter this year that is making me question the hardiness zone of our area which directly effects the plantings in my yard and the landscapes that I design. 20 degree nights for several days in a row knocked out many evergreen perennials and even some new plantings of hardy material.

3. Vacations: We're taking a big hiatus from travel for the most part, but a 5th anniversary trip is going to have to fall in there somewhere.
4. Holidays: We're hoping to stay home for most of them, including Christmas this year, so we're hoping friends and family will come to us!
