Dave thought I was crazy when I wanted to buy this split rail fence from a friend who took it out of their yard. I didn’t want to put in a brand new fence - I wanted existing lichen and moss. It took some post-hole digging and a borrowed gas powered auger, but I finally got the fence up. I think it turned out very nicely - the neighbors who drove by told me they like it. I planted some seeds at the posts, so hopefully we'll have some festive summer color in a few weeks!
