Filling Time

Nothing interesting to report, but felt weird about going so long without updating. So here are some highlights from the past couple weeks:

Personal:

1. Bought a volleyball net to be adapted to the pool.

2. Borrowed a fan for the deck. Makes the mosquitoes and extreme heat tolerable.

3. Switched the chickens to Layena (egg laying feed) rather than their start and grow feed. Anxiously anticipating egg production. The chickens still crack me up. They rush me at night because they know I bring them treats. Sometimes they take over the lawn furniture.

4. The end of the summer veggies has arrived. Looking forward to a nice Fall garden. I think it is going to reside off of the side porch. Planning to rent a tiller in September.

5. Dave's Mom is coming for a visit in October which we are very excited about!

6. Dog training has ended for the time being. Neeko recieved a certificate honoring him for 'trying to be a good and loving dog for our family'.

Professional:

1. New GAASLA executive committee is incoming. I will be the Secretary again next year.

2. Urban infill grocery store I have been working on is going to be constructed soon.

3. Attended an interesting continuing education class on LEED for Neighborhoods.
