Well, the hundreds of daffodil bulbs that I found on discount were a success, and the two days that I spent creating beds and putting them in were not a waste. They are up and lovely. It is Spring, and though our azaleas are not quite open (a little late this year) everything else is greening up. The veggies and herbs are planted: tomatoes, squash, dill, mint, thyme, curled and flat leaf parsley. Some annuals are in: marigolds around the deck for help with the bugs, impatiens are in the really shady spots.
Friends are coming in next week, so a weekend of Spring cleaning is planned.
