Life

Grateful. Grateful for Fall weather, a healthy active baby, a safe neighborhood in a beautiful place...for a nice life. Thank you.

Lane has forced me to slow down a bit. The days are still hectic, trying to squeeze what work I can in, but then there are slow moments like when I noticed a bunch of fish in a creek that I have walked over a hundred times, or a mockingbird/crow fight in the trees in front of our house. Thank you baby girl for these opportunities to notice things. I see you staring at the tiniest, most random things sometimes (a piece of pine straw, a leaf, a bug) and it reminds me to stop and take it all in.

We did another honey harvest last weekend, and brought in almost two gallons this time. This honey is a darker and more flavorful than the last batch, which doesn't mean it's better or worse, just different.

Little one is 17 weeks old, her four month doctor's appointment is next week. I cannot believe it.

Football and honey harvesting...hello Fall

Blue Beetle Honey Co.

The only picture I could get with her not yelling, cooing and being spastic
