Summertime!

It's officially summer. We've had high nineties and even a couple hundred degree days now for a couple of weeks. Good news - the pool is warm. Bad news - the pool will soon be so warm it's not refreshing. Dave's Mom came for another visit this week (she cannot seem to stay away from her Grandbaby - and she does copious amounts of cooking and cleaning while she is here).

Some firsts: I had my first night out last Friday and Dave had his first sole Lane duty for the night - he did great - she was asleep when I got home. I also had my first work-related meeting this week. I didn't realize how truly sleep deprived I was until I was trying to speak intelligently at that meeting. Baby had her first pool experience this week - she was pretty relaxed and happy - plan to try again this weekend. Dave's first avocados are on his tree. The dogs have knocked off the majority of them playing jungle, but there are 3 or 4 still hanging on!
